Kisspeptin-10 is the C-terminal decapeptide of human kisspeptin-54 (KISS1 precursor residues 112-121), H-Tyr-Asn-Trp-Asn-Ser-Phe-Gly-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH2. UniProt annotates this region as essential for receptor binding and activation, and it is an agonist of the kisspeptin receptor KISS1R (GPR54). It is used as a research tool in human reproductive and metabolic physiology studies and has no FDA or EMA approval.
