Beta-NMN is a ribonucleotide in NAD+ biosynthesis. Its beta-D-ribofuranosyl form is defined by PubChem and GSRS. It is a precursor, not the same compound as NAD+, nicotinamide riboside or nicotinamide. FDA changed its drug-preclusion interpretation in September 2025. Its December 2025 letter states that NMN is not excluded from the dietary supplement definition. This is not drug approval.
No molecular target is recorded.
